The wound is the place where the Light enters you
When I was seven, a rooster escaped from my grandparents' ranch. Everyone chased it until they gave up. I didn't. I tried different approaches until I caught it, legs still running midair. That's when I first learned how persistence and creativity work together.
Since then, life has thrown harder things at me—military school, chronic migraines, the feeling that everything's moving faster than I can keep up. Every time, I've had to adapt. Not push harder, but think differently.
I've learned that linear thinking doesn't solve complex problems. The world doesn't move in straight lines, and neither do we. Growth is less about forcing and more about adjusting. Trying again. Changing the angle.
I still chase the things that feel out of reach. Just calmer now, and maybe a little wiser about how to move.
